- Today will make make a rain sound effect using our fingers and add it, along with singing, to a story. We will also sing a song about the weather that we began recently.
1-Laskey
- Today we will continue to learn the melodic interval soh-lah, both reading and singing. We will also review another song that we will act out.
2-Capstick & 2-Daley
- Today we will continue to listen to a piece of orchestral music by Mozart, clapping along to it while reading rhythms. We will also sing the French round Frère Jacques, and, if time, play a game to practice melody.
3-Wilson
- We will continue to listen to a set of theme & variations by Mozart.
- We will listen to one of the variations in particular and both read and clap rhythms to it in 3/4 time.
- As much as time permits, we will continue the French lullaby Fais dodo, as well as the rounds Frère Jacques and I Love the Mountains.
4-Hanson
- Today we will continue to review an example of body percussion and continue working to write our own.

- Today we will do a listening lesson on Swing music.
5-Arseneault
- Today we will continue to practice changing between the D, D7 and G chords on the ukulele.
- If we have time, we will also begin the A7 chord.
