- Today we will continue to sing fun repertoire about Spring, feeling the beat, matching the tune with our voices and doing actions.

- We will listen to his Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah which was first performed in 1740.
- We will clap along to an Overture by Handel, reading 1/4 notes, 8th notes, 1/2 notes, and 1/4 rests.

- Today we will continue to earn the French lullaby Fais dodo, reading ta-a (1/2 note) and experiencing the 3/4 time signature.
- In Frère Jacques, which we will sing as a round, we will review the rhythm pattern tikka-tikka (four 16th notes together) and take note of the melodic pattern d-r-m-d.
- We will begin to learn a new round.

- Today we will continue to try out some body percussion and begin to write our own.

- Today we will do a listening lesson on Dixieland Jazz music.
