- Today we will participate in Easter themed activities, especially with song, Hot Cross Buns. This song features the melodic pattern m-r-d and includes 1/2 notes.
- We will also continue learning to sing the round Frère Jacques, noting the rhythm pattern tikka-tikka (four 16th notes together) and the melodic pattern d-r-m-d.

- Today we will focus on the French songs Fais dodo and Frère Jacques.
- In Fais dodo we will read note ta-a (1/2 note) and experience the 3/4 time signature.
- In Frère Jacques we will review the rhythm pattern tikka-tikka (four 16th notes together) and take note of the melodic pattern d-r-m-d.
